Two openings in particular are worth putting on your radar right now.
What Is the Royal Beach Club Concept?
The Royal Beach Club sits in an interesting space, above a standard port day but below a full private island experience. Think premium beach club with pools, food, drinks, and sun lounges at select destinations around the world. The existing facility at Paradise Island in Nassau already operates as a dedicated Royal Caribbean venue rather than a shared public beach, giving a clear sense of what the concept delivers in practice.
Santorini
The Santorini Royal Beach Club opened on the 27th of April 2026. A premium beach club experience on one of the most recognisable and photographed islands in the world. For anyone sailing the Mediterranean on Royal Caribbean, this adds a genuinely compelling port day option to an already strong itinerary.
Lelepa, Vanuatu
For Australian cruisers this is the more exciting announcement! Royal Beach Club Lelepa in Vanuatu is due to open in October 2027. Close to home, on a stunning island that already features on Royal Caribbean’s Pacific itineraries, it brings the premium beach club concept to a destination that is genuinely accessible from Australia without a long haul flight.
This is the first of two posts looking at Royal Caribbean’s destination experiences. Part 2 covers Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day concept and what that looks like in practice.
