Today is our last day in Singapore!  Because we had to check out of the hotel by 10am (we asked for a late checkout, but it was going to cost too much), we decided we would spend the day at Adventure Cove Water Park on Sentosa Island.  The hotel agreed to give us a key to access they gym showers so we could get changed before our flight home which was very nice of them.

So we had our buffet breakfast on the 58th floor of Marina Bay Sands again, and then caught the MRT to the Sentosa Island monorail.  We bought our tickets for the monorail and Adventure Cove Water Park and then jumped on the monorail.  We arrived at the water park just after it opened to make sure we got the most out of the day.

We rode water slides, relaxed in the wave pool and the moat with swim rings.  We saw some dolphins and had something to eat for lunch.  We decided to leave about 2pm and checked out some of the shops on Sentosa – they had a lot of American influenced stores near the entrance to Universal Studios Singapore which is in the same vicinity as the water park on Sentosa Island.  We caught the monorail and the MRT back to Marina Bay Sands.  We had our shower and got changed – which made a world of difference before a long flight.  We collected our bags from storage and caught the MRT to the Airport.

We arrived at the airport and checked in for our flight (QF 36 from Singapore to Melbourne with Qantas) and then went shopping in the MASSIVE Singapore (Changi) Airport – I couldn’t believe how many shops there were.  We had some Burger King before the flight and then boarded the plane back to Melbourne to arrive early the next morning.

Singapore was an amazing city and I can’t wait to get back there to explore more of it!
