Your phone will eventually let you down at the worst possible moment. A dead data connection, slow airport Wi-Fi, or a glitchy app should never leave you stranded. Three screenshots fix that.

What to Save Before Every Trip

  • Your hotel address,
  • Your booking confirmation, and
  • Public transport directions from the airport to your accommodation.

That is it.

A Real Example

Before flying to Singapore I screenshot the MRT directions from Changi Airport to City Hall station. No data required on arrival, no fumbling around trying to connect to Wi-Fi while tired and jet lagged. I knew exactly where I was going before I even landed.

Why it Matters

Roaming can fail and airport Wi-Fi is notoriously unreliable. If your navigation depends entirely on a live connection, you are one signal drop away from a stressful start to the trip.

Screenshots cost nothing and take thirty seconds. There is no reason not to do it.
